About Us

Before we get started I just wanted to lay down the details of what we will be doing. The 'Clean Program' lasts for three weeks and in those three weeks we will be eating and making a menu from the YES list of food. (see 'Yes and No Foods' tab) Some of the recipes will be taken from the book, and some will be created by us.

We will also be following a list of things to do daily. (see 'Daily Rules' tab) These things will aid in the detox and help our bodies get the most out of this program.
Lastly, we will be posting daily recipes, pictures, and comments about how we feel. Then every few days we will post our stats, such as weight and body fat index. We bought a special scale that measures these things. I do want to point out that our goal is NOT to lose weight (although, my butt could be a little smaller), but really just to get healthy. Neither of us needs to lose weight, but we could use more energy, get sick less often, feel more joy in life, lessen our allergies (especially Andy!), have consistent bowel movements, and eat more healthy foods. The scale is just something for fun.
